unable to start unetbotin

iam trying to run unetbotin in terminal it is showing folowing eror
[

@localhost anwar]# unetbootin
unetbootin: symbol lookup error: unetbootin: undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData11detach_growEPii

I seem to remember having the same issue when using the later version downloaded from sourceforge.

In the end, on Fedora, I wound up installing the Fedora version with yum install unetbootin

It's an older version, but worked for me where the sourceforge version didn't.

It is helpful if, when posting questions, you mention where you got the software--that is, if this is a Fedora package or the pacakge from the sourceforge unetbootin site.

I just ran into the exact same situation last evening in F17 and the following works for me.

In a terminal type:

Code:
su - -c/usr/bin/unetbootin
type your password and in no time, unetbootin should load.
