I appologise for creating a new thread. I have an Asus laptop (G73JW) and I'm running F16.
Recently, my touchpad has stopped working but I had a mouse so it was no problem. Today I forgot my mouse and i have been "tabbing" my way through links to get to write this.
So, the touchpad works in GDM but as soon as gnome starts it stops working.
I've tried:
a) Creating a conf file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ and set an input device
b) Used synclient to try to set the touchpad on
c) Reset the X11 configuration
Nothing worked. I'm hoping one of you can give me a hint to something that might work (I'm sure I missed something).
Thanks in advance.
P.S. The Fn + F7 used to disable the touchpad are not working (nothing new here, many functions don't work properly).
