Re: What is the best way to get games to work in Fedora 17?
PlayOnLinux would be your best bet, but I have had no luck with wine or playonlinux. I've tried to get 3 games working (Tron 2.0, FlightSimulator X demo, and World of Warcraft). The only game I got to work was WoW with regular wine and that's because I already had the files downloaded from a windows machine. I downloaded on windows and ran it under wine (wine WoW.exe) and it seemed to work okay.
For me, the best option is to just use Virtualbox. Wine has never really worked on anything I've tried. Maybe I've just been using it wrong. I say give them both a shot and see which ones you like.
