Smile Samsung NP-QX411

Just purchased a new Samsung and happy to report that Fedora 17 installed and runs perfectly. Every feature and function I have tried worked straight out of the box.

I took a live KDE usb drive to the store and did a quick test before buying. Unit booted with no issues. As soon as I got home I replaced the hd with a another I had on hand and installed F17, did all the updates, extra repos etc. So far not a single issue to report.

Initial plan was to test for a week or so before setting up dual boot on original hd, however, now thinking I will stay with Fedora only

9/12/12 Update: Continues to work very well. Now have no intention to re-install original hd and set for dual boot.
