Hey All,
Long time Ubuntu User, played around with Fedora a bit, and now trying to shift completely over to Fedora from Ubuntu (Gnome 3, just gotta have Gnome 3, Unity isn't my cup of tea).
Anyways I have an HP Pavilion g6 with an AMD A6-3620M Radeon 6520G - Windows 7 64-bit and Fedora 17 64-bit.
With Fedora (and this was also an issue in Ubuntu) if my computer goes to sleep then comes back on, the backlight doesn't turn on to where I have to switch to a TTY and CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart the machine to get the backlight on. Now I read someone had a similar issue and upgrade to Kernel 3.5.0 RC7 from the rawhide repos. I may do that, but was wondering if there were any appends I could do to GRUB or mods I could do to alleviate the issue.

EDIT:
Yeah Kernel 3.6.0RC0 didn't help resolve anything. Thinking it's another issue, gonna have to tweak around with some of the settings. If I find something that works I'll report back.
