WIFI problem on a DELL Inspiron 11Z

hi,

i'm using a netbook as mentioned, with win 7 installed. Everything works fine with windows.

I need linux for the college, so i decided to install linpus lite 1.7 desktop edition.
Installation was successful, however, my wireless card seems not working.

The card is recognized by the system info as BMC 4313 b/g wireless card, but doesn't search for wireless networks.

Ethernet connection works fine.

Can you post the output of lspci from a console?

Maybe the firmware is not loading for that card, in my experience Broadcom cards are very problematic.
