Hi,
I have a problem logging back in to an X session. Only the very first (after bootup) login screen is diplayed. When I log in and later loggout the X login screen never comes back on. The screen stays blank/black.
Technicaly I can "blindly" login to an X session again because the machine normaly runs, but I cannot see the X login screen. I have to reboot to achieve it.

Switching to a text console (CTRL+ALT+1,2,3 ..) works as I do not use the framebuffer.
I have used to run Fedora Core 6 where this kind of problem never occured to me on the same machine.

Facts:
Machine: Compaq D510 SFF (32bit)

AGP BIOS: reserved 64MB for video memory
Startup kernel options: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.43.8-1.fc15.i686 ro root=UUID=bbe87e68-1091-4cc6-9d87-346068179838 rd_NO_LUKS rd_NO_LVM rd_NO_MD rd_NO_DM LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 KEYTABLE=us nomodeset rhgb selinux=0

The machine is, well, "usable" as nothing else I use doesn't show a major problem. I can watch movies at a decent quality without hickups. Flash video runs OK too. Sound works. Switching to a different workspace is quick as well. No "graphic" dust, sand or any other garbage on the screen.

Please check out my attached Xorg.0.log for further details.
I can also provide more detailed stuff if a need be.

Thank you for a help.
