print checks in KmyMoney


Can anyone please direct or instruct me on how to print checks using KmyMoney?

You can't.

It is an European program and Europe doesn't use cheques anymore, so there is no motivation for anyone to add this quaint old fashioned American feature.

Well, that sucks! I pay most bills and purchases with debit card. But occasionally I must print a check.

Probably the easiest way is to create a cheque template with Libre Office Draw.

According to the discussion thread from the KMyMoney Development list below, it appears that KMM has a plugin for printing checks:

I don't know how well the plugin works, or whether it will format the check in the way you want, but you could check it out ... (I've been a satisfied KMM user since around 2008 -- it finally allowed me to ditch Quicken -- but I've never needed to print checks).
