FC17 Install Problems (Input out of range)

As a precursor, I have almost zero experience with Fedora let alone Linux....

I am having a slight issue trying to install FC17 on an older server. After booting past POST and the BIOS I can see the FC17 screen as its loading (blue/white bars scrolling towards the right), but as soon as it gets done with that my monitor goes blank and says Input Not Supported. Thus I can not see the gui to actually install FC17.

I have tried a few different monitors both 4:3 and 16:9 with the same results. From a bit of googling it seems as if there is a conf file that needs to be edited in order to get Fedora to display properly, but I am a bit lost as to how to edit that file prior to install.

Are there any workarounds, commands to issue prior to install or something else I can try to actually install Fedora 17 on this server?

Thanks In Advance.
