Question Internet- broadband connection

hi dear,

i have install F14 (fedora 14),but i can not connect to internet via broadband connection.
for example in ubuntu when we type "pppoeconf" command in terminal and set username and password ,connected to broadband internet.

what is same command in fedora to connect to broadband connection?


(i have no internet to install any package)

Do you have a network icon on the panel?
If yes, right-click it, go to its settings and setup your account in the DSL tab.

thank you.
i see network icon on the panel & i create an account in the DSl tab but it is not appear in the connection list ! so i decide to use command to connect the internet.
whats your idea?
is there any command via terminal to connect to internet?

Well.
I don't have the network manager applet (the panel icon) and I use Fedora 17 which I suppose is already quite different than F14 (and my system is just what I need). So I'm just guessing.

First thing, did you check 'Start automatically' in the DSL configuration?
Also, if you want to see if there's a command-line for that, try 'locate pppoe' and see is there's anything familiar.
