Re: Gnome-shell in Gnome 3 use 100% of CPU in Fedora 15
I think it happened to me following returning to my computer and it had gone to a black screen, and when I moved the space bar, the desktop came back up with a new side bar on the right showing my desktop background when mouse if scorlled over it, it pops out and displayed the picture... anyway, this was not there before, and following this I just happend to check out the new app I installed for performance monitoring... it showed cpu 3 at 100%... following a reboot, the % returned to around 2% +/-... on all cpu's. Could be somekind of issue upon resuming? The only other thing I did before this was install new apps... perhaps Gnome got hung up incorporating the new apps to the desktop... mem or virtual mem leak??? or run away process, but all the processes I looked at only showed low cpu usage to none, and the 100% cpu only showed up under viewing the performance pane. Perhaps somekind of derfered task manager needs to monitor for such things and report when stuff like this happens...???
