fedora14 along with windows 7 ask repair

Dears,

I have installed fedora15 on my linux laptop fewdays back, while installing I removed the backup drive of windows and installed fedora-15 on the same. After installing fedora I have problem using my Windows-7. Whenever I try to boot my windows it is asking for repair.

I afraid to GO for repair of windows, because I feel repair of windows might corrupt my fedora-15. below is the output of my fdisk. Can I try to restore windows or not? Trying to restore windows, will cause to fedora or not? please advise

Code:
# fdisk -l

Re: fedora14 along with windows 7 ask repair

In the past, I have had windows wanting to check the hard drive when I was booting for the first time after linux installation. When I allowed it to disk checking, it completed without error and booted fine. Nothing happened to linux partition. This is my experience though ... Obviously, I cannot assure that this will work ..

Are you getting a message about disk checking or something else? I do not really think that windows error checking can do anything to linux installation as long as one does not delete the partitions ....

On a different note, why did you install Fedora 15? It has reached EOL - http://lists.fedoraproject.org/piper...ay/003078.html. It might be better to install Fedora 16 instead.
