Exclamation How to restart system when booted into Fed 17

Fedorea 17 Newbie here:

I'm currenttly using my terminal to reboot my system. I'm running a MacBook Pro with a Quad boot of MacOSX, Fedora 17, Windows 7, and Liniux Mint 13. So when I'm in Fedora I'm looking at my user menue in the right hand corner of the sreen menu and all I see is
Quote:
Lockscreen, switch user, logout, and suspend.
As I type I'm updatng my system so I'm guessing logout just logs me out of the user system but I'm still booted into Fedora. From Fedora , besides using my term, how do I reboot ?

Thanks for any help,

Samuel.

Believe it or not, if you press the 'Alt' key with the menu opened 'Suspend' will become 'PowerOff'.

Thank you ,

Strange Fedora isn't built with a reboot or power off menu function as a default.

Should that be added by default with Gnome 3.4.4?

That's more of a GNOME Shell design decision than a Fedora decision, but it looks like future versions will return to having the shut-down options visible by default. In the meantime, if it bothers you, there are shell extensions that can restore the shut-down options at https://extensions.gnome.org. See "Alternative Status Menu" and "Frippery Shut Down Menu" and pick your favourite.
