Fedora 17 - 2nd Monitor Not Detected

I am running Fedora 17 x86_64 and my HDMI monitor is not detected. I would like to have dual monitor's configured. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have two graphics chips?

And two HDMI ports?

I do have two gpus...one on the MoBo and one in a PCI slot. I am using DVI off the MoBo (into a KVM with my ESXi host) and the second monitor is HDMI from the PCI card.

Have you tried to connect both monitors to the pci card and disable the onboard card or vice versa?

I was under the impression that the 4XXX series didn't support multiple digital displays from the same gpu. I would like to avoid buying another Video Card just to support this, but if that is what is necessary, I will do it. I just figure that there has to be a way since I have it working on Win7.

well...running in dual monitor mode now with both displays coming off the PCI GPU. Not sure what is going to happen when I am back in Win7, because the only way I could get it to work there was with each display on a different GPU.

There you go. GPUs from HD 5xxx series and better should support three monitors.
