command to find a package

What is the command from terminal used to display where a package i.e Skype has been installed in my Linux system ?

I use

which skype

and the output is

/usr/bin/skype

this is not what I'd like to know, I'd like to know all of its directories. In windows they can be found easily.

Re: command to find a package

There's also
Code:
locate skype
this will show every file/directory with skype in the title, helpful if not installed as an rpm

... and if you want to know the contents of the package that provides a given command, you can roll it all together with
Code:
rpm -q -l -f $(which command-name)

Or
repoquery -l <package>

and if you want to know to which package a file belongs
repoquery -f <file>
