Fedora 17 login Issue

After entering password, I have to wait approximately 20 seconds every time, only after then it checks and let me login, i.e for 20 seconds after pressing 'enter' key nothing hapens

please help

Should be solved by the latest updates. At least for me. Was experiencing the same before.

I have the cure. yum remove selinux*

Which is obviously a joke.

SELinux may not be the greatest thing, and the computer can run without it, but simply ripping it out at any inconvenience without explaining the wider implications is something you should not do.

And yeah, it seems we all had that error that was introduced with a SELinux update and since has been solved with the update one week later. If anyone is still experiencing it, make an automatic update of your software.
