netsniff-ng error on preupgrade fc16 to fc17

- Preupgrade aborted on netsniff-ng
- Reboot with FC16
- Add/Remove Programms - remove netsniff-ng
- Re-run Preupgrade installation OK but stop on cleanup error (probably because of my uninstall of netsniff-ng)

At the moment I can run Fedora 17 with Kernel Linux 3.3.8-1.fc16.x86_64
But when I try to run the fc17 Kernel I get the message on bootup .. block(0,0) not found

Is this only a Grub problem?
And how can I do a cleanup?

Update:

yumex erase kernel (New Kernel fc17)
yumex install kernel (Old Kernel fc16)
preupgrade

This installs the FC17 Kernel

But now i'm gone only a little bit further. Now if I start the fc17 Kernel from grub ..

Unable to open ($devnode)

and leaves me in $dracut prompt.....
