F17 doesn't recognize SD Card on Gateway LT4004u

Hey guys, I just got a Gateway LT4004u Netbook and installed Fedora 17 since Ubuntu 12.04 wouldn't recognize the GMA3600 intel graphics as it's based on Kernel 3.3. Everything has been working well, except whenever I insert an SD card into the slot nothing happens. This is not a problem with USB removable media and no other hardware seems to be affected. This was not a problem when I had Ubuntu 12.04 or Windows 7 starter on here, so I am not sure exactly what to do. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Here is my laptop's smolts profile:

Thank you!
