Installing Ati Radeon Drivers.

Hi there,

I have ATI radeon card in my system. When I plug in my monitor through it, fedora 14 64-bit didnt detect the monitor. And I wasnt getting the good Resolution.
So I tried to install the ATI Radeon Drivers as mentioned in this link http://gofedora.com/how-to-install-a...ers-fedora-11/ .
I updated my Kernel First then installed the ATI drivers then rebooted the system.
Since then my system boots to bash prompt I cannot make it start to GUI.
I followed the rest of the steps mentiond in the above link through console and made changes to the mentioned files still it doesnt work.
I googled to find out that in /etc/inittab I have to set runlevel to 5 .. but it was already 5 .. i changed it to 3 booted then changed it to 5, booted again but nothing worked.
Please help me out of it.

How about you try this;
Ditch the ancient F11 and F14, install F17 (current).

Re: Installing Ati Radeon Drivers.

Boot from a LiveCD Fedora 14, 15, 16 or 17 and then you can read or backup your important documents ;-)
