sony vaio freezing on f17

hi. I have this new vaio (i post the lspci output after the message
I use vesa driver with fallback mode in gnome 3 since the radeon hd 7650m card is not supported at the moment.
the problem is that it hangs often usually while I am downloading from internet.
what coul be the cause? maybe defected ram ? I noticed it happens more often with kernel 3.4. than the 3.3.7 one....
