Hi All,
June 4, 2012 I updated my Fedora 16 release, as I always do every couple of days with the update application available in Gnome 3.2. After the update the software suggested to log out and log back in to get; I did a restart.
After the restart I got a blue background on the login screen, after loggin in the blue screen remained. I also noticed that some icons of applications in the 'quick launch bar' are not visible (but clicking on the invisible icons will launch the applications anyway). Icons are also missing elsewhere such as in the applications 'folder' (the one you click if you want to see and launch applications).
The biggest problem of this is that if I launch an application such as Firefox or Libre Office (writer), the system says 'Oh ho something went wrong" and I am forced to log-off.
I have included two screen shots, where you can see which files were updated when I did the update (the Gnome screen shot maker works normal.
P.S. I can view without problems files in directories).
Please, let me know if you need more system info.
Thanks in advance,
Michael
