tuxmath crashes

fedora 17 latest

When i click on tuxmath the window comes up and crashes, No error, Running in command line..
root@localhost XXX]# tuxmath
Initializing Tux4Kids-Common 0.1.1
ALSA lib pulse.c:243pulse_connect) PulseAudio: Unable to connect: Connection refused


Warning: I could not set up audio for 44100 Hz 16-bit stereo.
The Simple DirectMedia error that occured was:
No available audio device

tuxmath: symbol lookup error: /lib/libt4k_common.so.0: undefined symbol: png_set_valid

That's the reason for the crash. It has nothing to do with Pulse Audio. "t4k_common" is the package that needs to be fixed.

$ ldd -r /lib64/libt4k_common.so.0 >/dev/null
undefined symbol: png_set_valid (/lib64/libt4k_common.so.0)

As a user? You would wait for a response to your bug report (which you could reassign to the t4k_common component in bugzilla).

As a developer? You would need to become familiar with the libpng API and find out why the libt4k_common.so.0 library uses a symbol that is not provided by libpng.
