After almost all of the installation process Fedora 16 installer gave an error that same something like "Error installing bootloader", and then prompted for a restart(Just like if it was done installing). Upon reboot there was no bootable drive to be found(other than the Fedora Installer on CD, and my 10.6 partition.
On my 10.6 partition using Disk Utility I can see the BIOS boot partition, and the Swap partition, but it is saying the main partition is free space. Using disk utility booted onto the Fedora CD I can see all 3 partitions; Main ext4 partition, Swap partition and the BIOS boot partition.
I read some similar issues occurring while upgrading from F14 or F15 to F16 with grub2, but this was a clean install done onto free space with no other bootloaders on the drive.
Any ideas on how to fix this issue without doing another install? I worry if I do another clean install this will just happen again.
Thanks in advance.
