I have few doubts here. Can any one help me ..?

1) When interface make down,
a) IPv4 address is lost, but IPv6 address is not lost. is it expected behavior?
if no, is there any patches?
2) when interface make down and up
a) why only IPv6 routes are deleted?
b) let me know is there any issues and patches for this
3) Why ECMP route are deleted, when delete best route? (routes are configure by using netlinks)

Thanks an advance.......
