vinagre vs vncviewer - usernames

When I connect to a vnc server with tigervnc I do this:

vncviewer server:0

It asks me for a password, (username box is grayed out) - I type it, and it works.

When using vinagre, on connection I'm asked for a username and a password. I can't seem to find a username that will satisfy the server. The server is a Mac, 10.7 Lion.

Thanks for any help.

Re: vinagre vs vncviewer - usernames

The same problem, can't specify username.
When I'm using Java version of VNC Viewer Enterprise Edition E4.2.6 (RealVNC), it ask properly for the password.
