%20%20%20%20: what does that mean?

I'm looking at some source code for an intranet page on my company's website. One of the lines refers to a document on a networked drive. It's address is S:/XTC-Web/dfk%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20/index.doc

Actually there's about 20 more "%20" in there. What exactly does that mean? There isn't a directory on the network drive with that name.
