Inaccessible gedit-LaTeX Plugin
Hello ALL!
Many gedit plugins are working great, but no sound from gedit_LaTeX. It is listed in Fedora's
repositories. However, when I install it, nothing happens. I can see it under Edit -> Preferences -> Plugins, but if I try to adjust its Preferences, gedit crashes. Also, Ctrl+Alt+<NUMBER> (which I learned before, under Debian) is silent -- unresponsive. Please, does anyone experienced similar issue? Is there someone who can
use gedit-LaTeX Plugin in Fedora? Any idea?
Best,
PM

Re: Inaccessible gedit-LaTeX Plugin
It seems to work for me. I actually did not know about the gedit plugin. I just installed it, opened two different latex docuemnts and converted to pdf. No problems here.
Could you describe the problem in greater detail perhaps? Does it just crash? May be you can open gedit from terminal and see what error message it gives when it crashes.

When I am running from terminal, I am getting this output, but only if gedit-LaTeX plugin is on:
Code:
Here is the output:

Re: Inaccessible gedit-LaTeX Plugin
What release are you using? I looked up a little about these errors. It looks like this problem occured quite a while ago (mostly python 2.6). I will post if I find a solution ....
