setting up a preferred mirrolist

I live in a place where the nearest and fastest fedora mirrors are 2 days behind the main mirrors.
I want to manually setup the mirrorlist with my configuration and I found a link regarding this.

But all that I want is a list of fedora mirrors info to plug it into the file
/etc/yum.repos.d/local.mirror

the website gives a list of australian mirrors which doesn't work. Where can I get a list of working mirrorlist.
I am using fastestmirror yum plugin which usually stores the list of mirrorlist in '/var/cache/yum/x86_64/17/timedhosts.txt'
But its empty.
I don't know where else to look for?

Have you looked at this? This pages give a list of mirrors associated with the Fedora project. It is listed country-wise.

I know that site but I want the list of working mirrors. like this

But this list is not working currently. I want in this format.
