Hi all,

I've had a look with
yum provides xindy
but I have not found anything. Is xindy not packaged at all? I ask because I followed instructions at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/TeXLive to have texlive2011 through yum, so that it would be recognised as an installed dependency for R. Unfortunately they do not appear to have packaged xindy which I need for the makeglossaries script (I can remove the xindy argument from my glossaries package but this would only be a workaround - xindy is recommended by the glossaries package author). I have informed them, by mailing the list.

I just wanted to check here on the forums if there is any to obtain xindy through yum, before I go compiling it from source (which I really, really, would rather not do).
