Synaptics touchpad not working after update

Hello, after the kernel updated last night via YUM the touchpad of my laptop stopped working, the weird thing is that is work in the login screen but as soon as i log in my account i stops working, doe anyone know what may be wrong? thank you.

Laptop Acer Aspire 5560-8480 with synaptics touchpad, running fedora 16 64-bits
