F15 running slow

My computer boots very slow. The F15 animation no longer appears while booting. It is substituted with a "progress bar".

When I login, the desktop loads slowly, avg. 15 seconds.

Finally, when browsing the internet, flash animations seem to run REALLY slow.

Any thoughts are appreciated. I am LINUX illiterate so you may have to spoon feed the diagnostic process to me.

Re: F15 running slow

Sounds like you might need some specific drivers for your hardware (particularly video) rather than relying on the generic drivers that come with Linux. First step - post the output from the following commands to give us some idea of what you are running on
Code:
uname -a
lspci -nn
Then we might be able to suggest some other checks to find out what's going on. Any other information as to anything you may have added to your install could also help.
