Contact online notifications

Hi. I use Fedora 16 with gome and empathy (at this moment version 3.2.2). Is it posible to get a balloon notification when a contact comes online? I get a notification in tray when someone sends me a message, but only a sound notification when a contact comes online. As I remeber, there was such notification (with a name of a person that came online) in Ubuntu, at least last year when I tested Ubuntu.

Re: Contact online notifications

Hello, I'm interested by the response to your question.
I would know also if empathy needs to be launched to get notificiations via gnome 3.4 integration notification system?
Thank you in advance
