Evolution - Google calendar problem - "the calendar doesn't exists"

When I try to add a new (google) calendar entry in Evolution I get an error message saying: "unable to create calendar object : The calendar doesn't exists".

Already existing events on my google calendar are showing up correctly in Evolution.

I found the following Ubuntu bug about exactly the same problem:

Does someone have the same problem?

google broke their own api. if you create an event, get the error message, quit and restart gnome then evolution and sync the calendar, the event should actually show up. in any event, it's a known bug already reported upstream and fixed. the patches have already been pulled into 3.4, but it looks like you're on F15 or F16, so you're going to have to wait a bit longer or else enable updates-testing to get the fixes.

The fixes will almost certainly be backported. Right now I would guess the fix is in your version's update-testing queue, and after whatever amount of time it needs to sit in there bug free, it will eventually filter down into the normal updates queue. As long as you are doing more than just security updates it should be fixed for you in the next week or so.

evolution-3.4.1-2 hasn't made it into updates-testing yet.

How does one track the process? I thought koji.fedoraproject.org would show me, but it seems only to have a view into what happens after it's decided that a package should be built for a specific version of Fedora.
