gnome-shell calendar is empty / evolution works as aspected

Hello,

i installed fedora 17 and most things works well, butt the gnome-shell calendar is not populated, evolution shows the calendar entries as expected. The issue appears with local calendar and google-calendar.

Anyone else has the problem?

greets MightytuX

I don't have F17 installed yet, and I noticed this was your first post. Did you have this working in F16?

Yes I have noticed the same issue. Not sure yet if a bug report has been files with Fedora or Gnome.

Looks like not reported at Fedora bug tracker yet. The following search didn't turn it up

gnome AND shell AND calendar OR evolution NOT abrt
The following bugs are already upstream, and look pretty similar:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673474

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673610 (patch already in place, just needs to be pulled in by Fedora, so maybe needs a bug report to do that?)

thank you for your quick response.

you are right, it seems to be the same bug. I didnt managed to find the bug report on bugzilla, but it is good to know someone else has the same problem :-)

Hopefully there will be a fix bevore final release.

@rhamel: the gnome-shell calendar works well on F16, and as i tried a few minutes ago upgrading a working installation from f16 to f17 works well too.

Probably the 20th then, today's update didn't bring a fix.

It's in gnome-shell 3.4.1 ... maybe try yum clean all, then yum update? Or maybe it's just a mirror thing?
