phpmyadmin

Hi,

I installed phpmyadmin for my mysql database. It is not running properly. when I entered this http://localhost/phpmyadmin
it shows an error. that means, source code of the web page is displayed.

how to overlook this problem.

my os is fedora 13 64 bit
browser: firefox 10

please help me.

Do you definitely have php installed? Did you install it all through rpms?

yes, I have installed php.

I installed as under:

# yum -y install phpMyAdmin php-mysql php-mcrypt

I haven't done this in a long time. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge will answer, but you might have to do something in /etc/httpd/conf.d--there may be a file in there that needs editing.

I'm not sure what searching you may have done on your own, but these both came up googling phpadmin on fedora

Note that I didn't even google it correctly, leaving out the "My"
