ASUS N61JV-X2 notebook PC and Bumblebee Project

Hi. I am new here. I followed this official Fedora Project Bumblebee installation guide:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bumblebee

I had no problems while following these instructions to the letter.

Here is where I do run into a problem:

[wellywu@N61JV-X2 bbswitch]$ sudo bumblebeed --daemon
[wellywu@N61JV-X2 bbswitch]$ optirun glxspheres
[ERROR]Error running "vglrun": No such file or directory
[wellywu@N61JV-X2 bbswitch]$ optirun firefox
[ERROR]Error running "vglrun": No such file or directory
[wellywu@N61JV-X2 bbswitch]$ sudo bumblebeed --daemon
[sudo] password for wellywu:
[wellywu@N61JV-X2 bbswitch]$ optirun firefox
[ERROR]Error running "vglrun": No such file or directory
[wellywu@N61JV-X2 bbswitch]$

When I try to use the optirun command with firefox or any other 3D graphics program like glxgears or glxspheres, I get the above error.

What is the problem?

How do I fix this problem?

How do I get Bumblebee to work properly on my Red Hat Fedora 16 64 bit GNU/Linux OS with my ASUS N61JV-X2 notebook PC?

Please help if you can with detailed explanations and instructions. Thank you.

Re: ASUS N61JV-X2 notebook PC and Bumblebee Project

I solved it by installing VirtualGL 2.3 64 bit .rpm. Bumblebee works now!
