Alright so my friend is trying to install wine on his computer running fedora 16 but he doesn't have an internet connection.
Our dorm requires the use of a client that checks your system for torrent programs. If it doesn't find one it lets you online which would be fine except the client isn't supported on Linux. On my machine, it works just fine through wine and so I'd expect it to work on his as well. The problem is wine needs to be installed offline...
Anyway, back to the real issue, I downloaded wine-core as an rpm file (I can't post more links). When attempting to install it, I was notified I needed wine-common. So I found wine-common and attempted to install that. Apparently wine-core is needed to install wine-common and vise-versa....anyone know whats going on.
