after change the only user's home directory owner, fedora can't boot up

I have Fedora 15 on /dev/sda2 and have only user baijingjiao
----baijingjiao:x:500:500:baijingjiao:/home/baijingjiao:/bin/bash

I have Fedora 16 on /dev/sda3 and have only user baijingjiao too
----baijingjiao:x:1000:1000:baijingjiao:/home/baijingjiao:/bin/bash

on Fedora 16, I did below steps as root:

mount /dev/sda2 /mnt
chown baijingjiao:baijingjiao /mnt/home/baijingjiao -R
chown 500:500 /mnt/home/baijingjiao -R

but now I can't boot up my Fedora 15 with the probem as below image shows

Why dont you tell/add /etc/fstab this line:
Code:
/dev/sda2 /home ext4 defaults 0 0
Just be sure to replace ext4 with the actual filesystem type.

You might (not real sure, I've not seen this particular problem) need to run "restorecon -/home" from single user mode under F15.

Since home is part of your root filesystem, you might need to do a
touch /mnt/.autorelabel (and reboot), since it is possible that the securitly labels of the entire filesystem may be a bit corrupted. I have a separate /home partition to mount between F14/F16, and have seen no problems there.
