You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

I used koji to build cinnamon but selected the wrong build target

Cinnamon has nothing to do with torrents so could you clarify your issue.

I know it doesn't that's what I don't get, I updated to the new repo of cinnamon and torrents stopped connecting, I even went as far as to completely reinstall f16 and the new cinnamon. Still nothing connects. I wonder if its deluge being blocked like ktorrent and versions of transmission as well.
What are other bittorrent programs accessible with yum? My server has no issues downloading I haven't tried my other f16 box yet

After last update (1.3.0-2) system-monitor extension is not working. Any clue?

I'm not sure about the extension. However, there is now an applet on cinnamon's website that works great. Plus, it's movable.

Re: Cinnamon guide for F16 (replacement for gnomes-hell)
The classic layout doesn't seem to work right any more. It generates the flipped layout with a blank bar on the bottom. It's impossible to drag the applets into the same arrangement they had in 1.2.0; they insist on going to the bottom left.

Re: Cinnamon guide for F16 (replacement for gnomes-hell)
So this is a gnome shell fork? Meaning it's not like MATE which is a gnome 2 fork, which means the DE will rely on hardware acceleration to work?
I've been looking for a nice alternative and cinnamon seems perfect. I just can't seem to get it to load. I'm thinking it has to do with my hardware requirements that I do not meet. Can anybody confirm this needs hardware acceleration to work?

Re: Cinnamon guide for F16 (replacement for gnomes-hell)
More like I different interface for Gnome Shell. It still uses Gnome for everything but the UI, so it has the same system requirements as Gnome Shell.

Re: Cinnamon guide for F16 (replacement for gnomes-hell)
Leigh...
Is this a normal message when updating cinnamon? I have been getting it every time mine updates, but not sure if it really an error or not.
Code:
Updating : cinnamon-1.3.0-2.fc16.x86_64 1/4
Updating : apper-0.7.1-0.7.20120218.fc16.x86_64 2/4
Cleanup : cinnamon-1.3.0-1.fc16.x86_64 3/4
warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.locale'/>
warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.objects'/>
warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.history'/>
warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.ui'/>
Cleanup : apper-0.7.1-0.4.20111021.fc16.x86_64 4/4
Any ideas on what is causing it?

glabels has a bad schema file, cinnamon runs this script when updating.
Code:
%posttrans
glib-compile-schemas --allow-any-name %{_datadir}/glib-2.0/schemas ||:
File a bug report against glabels

I don't know what your hardware is, but I've been able to get F16 to run on a VM with 1 core and 512M of RAM. Gnomes-hell wouldn't run and it started in fallback mode which was REALLY slow and unresponsive. Cinnamon would also somewhat run on the VM, but it was also unbearably slow and kept randomly crashing with a black desktop and the annoying "Sorry a fatal error occured! You need to logout."
So much for Linux being both lean on resources and rich on features.. It's turning into M$ Windows, wants 60 GB of disk space and 8 GB of RAM just to run a blank desktop.
