When installing Nvidia, did you install using kmod-nvidia, or, akmod-nvidia? When a new kernel comes in akmod-nvidia rebuilts the Nvidia module. If you didn't use akmod-nvidia do:
Code:
yum install akmod-nvidia
then rebbot, and, see if that helps.

Have you been seduced by siduction? http://siduction.org/index.php
Running Fedora 17/18, siduction and openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE
I tried what you said, it says akmod-nvidia already installed and latest version nothing to do.
So I then tried yum install kmod-nvidia it installed it but I still get the error.
I haven't been using akmods for some time now, but I do remember that the service used to always report that it failed at boot. It had no consequences whatsoever.
So if there's no other problem, you can probably ignore it.
However i did figure out the FIX i just simply needed to edit the grub to remove the nomodeset i had added.
When i first installed i needed the nomodeset command to install and boot, however after i installed the nvidia driver i no longer needed the nomodeset command.
All is well now, i just need to figure out how to get my two other monitors working on my secondary card.
