Changing out Motherboards - BIOS Boot to UEFI

I have an existing F16 Install on a desktop. It's the only OS on the box, and I'm currently setup for GPT rather than MBR.

I am considering replacing my current Lenovo motherboard with an ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) that has UEFI.

Idealy I would like to find a way to swap boards without having to do a complete reinstall.

Has anybody done this type of swap, without reinstalling?

I understand that the ultimate, perfect way to do it is to reinstall fresh after the board install, and restore my backups.

I'm not a n00b, but haven't interacted with the UEFI technology yet.

Thanks in advance,

Claud
