Hey Brainy chaps of FedoraForum
I has a problem. Got my wife a Creative labs Zen style 100.
Plugged it into the usb port and it started charging. That is all, can't get fedora to find it, when I run lsusb all I get is my mouse memory stick and exteranl drive

I am stumped and would appreciate any help you could provide. (^.^)

Ok.
So, after much hunting, I've found tha Gnomad2, clementine and amarok are great for issue with these players and that using them lets you access the device.
Also, that you should change ports and cables before trying to fix it from the O/S.
Changed cable, found device.
Lesson learned.
