need to setup interlace mode nvidia

Fedora 16 x64
Gnome
Dual Core duo
NVidia 7600GT
2GB Ram
MythTV

I just setup latest nvidia drivers with yum.

I want to do the following "Setup X with an interlaced display mode that matches the content resolution (at least in the vertical)"

However, I can't find any easy way to do this. I've tried nvidia settings tool and there are no interlace options. Do I have to manually build an xconfig? Wouldn't know where to begin, pretty sure everything is on autodetect.

I'm outputting my display to an Onkyno 708 receiver and want to leave it up to the receiver to do deinterlacing and not my computer.

I'm using DVI out to HDMI to my receiver. main display is an LG LCD 47" tv 1080p. I also have a huge problem with overscan. Do you think its configuration problem on my receiver or is it a video problem on my machine?

Please help

Re: need to setup interlace mode nvidia

I figured it out by using the nvidia-settings GUI tool.

There is an advance button to change the resolution to 1080_60i

Fixed overscan by changing the settings to just scan on my TV.

All happy now
