Re: PANEL is flickering

Its EOL.

Supported are the 'current' last 3 releases, which are: F14, F15 and F16.
As soon F17 is release, F14 will be EOL, at least if i understood the Fedora rules

EDIT:
About your issue:
I'd rename ~/.config to ~/.config.org when loged in username1 (which flickers), then relog to username1 again.

Howver, ~/.config contains many, many settings, and without knowing which DE you're using, cant help you further.

F14 has less than 2 weeks left.

Greetings.

This is a reminder email about the end of life process for Fedora 14.

Fedora 14 will reach end of life on 2011-12-08, and no further updates
will be pushed out after that time. Additionally, with the recent
release of Fedora 16, no new packages will be added to the Fedora 14
collection.

Please see http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DistributionUpgrades for more
information on upgrading from Fedora 14 to a newer release.

DE is the abrevihation for Desktop Enviroment, which means, gnome, kde, xfce, lxde.
REnaming .config may be done by opening your filebrowser, go to your homedirectory (/home/curioustoknow),
press ctrl+h to see Hidden files.
Select the .config dir (watch out for the dot before the name), press F2, then type the new name.

I suggest renaming, since, yes, this folder is pretty important.
With renaming this folder and a relog, you'll know if there is a wrong setting located in this folder.
If it still flickers, you rename ~/.config.org back to ~/.config and do another relog to load the config files.
