Canon PIXMA MP280 driver

Hi everybody,

I didn't know where to put this. I felt my issue is pretty close to networking. so i started this tread.

I just got a canon pixma mp287 printer, foolishly forgetting to check whether it was compatible with my fedora 14. When I open system > administration > printing, I see drivers available pixma mp220 and pixma mp500, but not mp287. Not even close to mp280. Does anyone know whether this is available, or if/when it will be, or whether there's another way to get my printer working?

Thanks!

Re: Canon PIXMA MP280 driver

You can download drivers from canon:
http://support-au.canon.com.au/P/sea..._os&g_os=Linux
(Yes, it is the australian site. I don't know why, but you do not found the drivers on every canon sites).
You will need the two rpms: one is for the printer, the other for the scanner.

P.S. : the link is for Pixma MP280
