Wifi Issue Fedora 16 XFCE

Using the RT3090sta chipset, my wifi is seen but when I try to connect and enter my WPA2 password, the connection icon spins indefinitely without connecting.
Strange thing is it connects fine in Fedora 16 Gnome & all the 'buntus.
The problem is specifically with the latest XFCE.
Any help would be appreciated.
