XFree86 on FC3 possible?

hey, i was wondering if it was possible to install XFree86 on Fedora Core 3 because i have an ATI Radeon 9600 vid card and cedega.. but i can't utitlize either of them because FC3 uses XOrg and ATI makes drivers for XFree86. that was prly fairly redundant.. so sorry, lol. but yea.. is it doable? like, without any (major) problems?
