As you probably know, when F16's released on 11/8, this sub-Forum will be archived and we won't allow new posts into it. So, solve all your problems early folks.

Uh...well, they just disappear...and kinda reappear under other Forums.
We'll shuffle stuff to make it all work, no worries. But hey, F16's gonna be PERFECT, right???

Re: F16 Development Forum Nearing EOL
"Historically Test and General Availability releases happen at 10:00am Eastern US Time on a Tuesday,
which is either 1500UTC or 1400UTC depending on daylight savings in the United States."
The above quote is from the Fedora Project site, in years past used to have a lot of fun trying to get it downloaded asap.
Now I start with a pre-alpha test version and just upgrade,
unless I just feel like testing the install process and wipe it and do it again.
I think I have installed F16 3 or 4 times.
Great fun.

Re: F16 Development Forum Nearing EOL
If I upgrade from F15 to F16, will I lose any of the configurations or apps I am using, or will they just "upgrade", similar to a "yum upgrade" ?
Reason I am asking, is that I am running a small website on my F15, and don't want to screw it up... lol

if your that worried, why dont you make a Folder and save all your crap in there and tar it all and put it on a seperate partition and do a clean install of F16 and then get your stuff from the saved stuff in the tarball. and then delete the partitoin or burn the stuff to CD and then make anew clean install
choosing UPGRADE isnt really supported, you could end up with heaps of conficts
Make a clean full install
