KDE plasma-desktop and most of KDE application stop functioning

Hey

I have installed Fedora 15 Gnome 3 spin, I installed plasma-desktop in addition to gnome.
All worked very good until today.

I don't know what I did to mess up all the KDE applications but the two last actions I did before it happened:
I added KDE repository - "http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/kde.repo"
I installed KDEsvn

Now all KDE application like Kmail, KWrite, Kate, Ktorrent, Kdevelop, plasma-desktop etc
Work extremely slow, crashing and not responding.
Also if I try when login with KDE desktop instead of Gnome it unable to load I just see blue screen with mouse pointer.

I tried to remove KDEsvn and reinstall some KDE software it didn't help.
I also tried Google this problem and didn't find any thing that help me.

Please advice
Thanks

Do you have the same problems if you create a new user?
Are all kde packages from the same version (eg. 4.7.1) or have you updated only some of them (post the output of "rpm -qa kde*")

Re: KDE plasma-desktop and most of KDE application stop functioning

I added new user and all the KDE applications worked fine.
When I started KDE svn all of the KDE apps stop working for the current user.
I tried it with two users.

I notice I have installed "kdesvn-1.5.5-3.fc15.i686" so I removed it and install the 64bit version.
After I installed the 64 version, all the KDE applications were working fine including the KDE svn.

So we found the cause but still my normal user can't run KDE apps.
How can I fixed my usual user?

Thanks a lot for the help

Re: KDE plasma-desktop and most of KDE application stop functioning

Then the problem is in the user settings.

If you don't care about your previous configurations you can just delete ~/.kde/ while using gnome or a text console. When you login the next time in KDE it will be recreated with the default settings.

Otherwise rename it "mv ~/.kde ~/.kde.bak", then gradually copy back the old files and login again until you find the offending file.
