Can not login | Error : Input method indicator

Whenever i get to the login screen i get an error message that mention an input method indicator error and it suggest to turn it off, which i do via the Interface the error message provides.

I am now stuck, i can not log in anymore. I couldn't find anything mentioning this problem anywhere. Would anyone have a suggestion on how to overcome this ?

Thanks a bunch !

Re: Can not login | Error : Input method indicator

At first you could have a look if you can log in an tty2 (ctrl+alt+f2), either with your username or as root.
At second, what have you done ? previous to last shutdown /hibternate /suspend or whatever.

PS: You may switch back to grafical UI by ctrl+alt+f1 (might be f5 or f7)

Re: Can not login | Error : Input method indicator

Thanks sea, i tried that already, and i can login via the console, though after when i hit CTRL+atl+F1 i get back to the login screen with the same bug
Also i tried to run command from this thread http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=270835,
though i get an error when trying to start : gnome-session-properties, though i guess this make sense since the session hasn't started.

Prior to this i did nothing, fresh install of Fedora 16, i made a couple reboot everything was smooth and fine. Then the problem happend, the only thing i did since the install was getting the list of updates, though i haven't made one yet.

Re: Can not login | Error : Input method indicator
